The Vehicle Hold Control system assists the rider during uphill starts by actively braking the rear wheel and keeping the vehicle stationary. Riding comfort is maximised by the cruise control feature and by the Ducati Quick Shift system, which allows the gears to be shifted up and down without using the clutch and without releasing the throttle, for faster acceleration.
